3PL Camelot (Excalibur) - Easy Scan vs. Standard Camelot Integration

Brief explanation of Camelot's Easy Scan application and how its different than a Standard Camelot integration

Easy Scan Integration:

  • This is an application within the Camelot/Excalibur system that calls the ShipWise Public Api to rate and ship orders.
  • An Easy Scan integration is essentially a Public Api integration and not a 3PL Camelot integration.
  • An Api token will have to be generated (Settings > Management your users > API) and provided to customer's Camelot rep (NOTE: API TOKENS CANNOT BE SENT VIA EMAIL).

  • NOTE: 3PL Camelot integration carrier mappings will not work for Easy Scan. The customer's Camelot carrier codes will need to be mapped into the "Non-market Specific" carrier inbound mappings.

Camelot Integration:

  • Must be configured in Cloud as a standard integration

  • Needs to have its own unique carrier inbound/outbound mappings listed under the "3PL Camelot" integration.
  • NOTE: Marketplace Carrier Update Mappings are required for a standard Camelot integration.

Clients using both a Standard Camelot integration and Easy Scan:

  • A standard Camelot integration will have to be setup and configured in cloud.
  • An Api token will have to be generated for Easy Scan.
  • Carrier mappings for Easy Scan will be under "Non-market Specific" and carrier mappings for the Camelot integration will be set under "3PL Camelot".
