Pitney Bowes is a USPS approved consolidator that ShipWise partners with to provide USPS postage to customers. With Intra-Canada, Pitney Bowes handles package transit from Canada origin addresses to Canada delivery addresses.
Rates
Rates are obtained from the CBDS Rep and uploaded manually by the Implementation tech. The system calculates them for each shipment.
Zones
Zones are uploaded manually by development. If zones are changed our dev team will need to be notified and provided new zones.
Labels
Labels are obtained from the Pitney Bowes API.
What are the benefits of PB Cross Border Intra-Canada service?
Customers can keep their packages in the hands of one carrier service. Normally, once packages cross the border, they are handed off to the national carrier service.

Shipping an Order with Pitney Bowes Intra Canada Service
Select CB20: CBDS Domestic within Canada as the ship method for the order.
After the service is selected, the bottom portion of the order manager indicates which fields of the customs information need to be filled in.
Note: Even though Intra Canada orders are shipped within Canada, the customs section must be filled out to utilize the service.
