What is a Customs Form?
A customs form is a document used to declare the contents and value of goods being shipped across international borders. It typically includes information such as the sender's and recipient's names and addresses, a description of the items being shipped, the quantity of items, their value, and the purpose of the shipment.
Customs forms are required by customs officials to assess the appropriate duties and taxes to be charged on imported goods, and to prevent the illegal import or export of certain items. Depending on the country and the nature of the shipment, there may be different types of customs forms required.
