🔐 How to Apply a User-Limited Data View to a Specific Profile

This guide explains how to configure a user's account so that they only have access to data associated with a specific profile (e.g., batches, orders, and shipments).

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Navigate to User Settings

• Go to Settings.

• Click on the Users tab.

2. Select the User

• Find and select the user you want to apply the profile restriction to.

3. Configure Permissions

• Scroll down to the Permission Set / User Privileges section.

• Set the Role to: Shipper Viewer.

4. Apply a Profile

• Below the role selection, you’ll see an option to Assign a Profile.

• Choose the appropriate profile you want the user restricted to.

5. Validate Access

• (Optional) Log in as that user.

• Confirm the following:

  • Batches are filtered to only show those tied to the selected profile.

  • Orders only include those relevant to that profile.

  • Shipments are similarly restricted to that profile.
