ShipV1 Retirement & Transition to ShipWise Web App (ShipV2)

ShipV1 and legacy DesktopShipper domains will be sunsetting on March 31, 2026. Learn how to transition quickly to the ShipWise Web App to avoid disruption.

Overview

After many years of service, ShipV1 (ship.dektopshipper.com) will sunset as part of ShipWise’s continued investment in a more secure, scalable, and feature-rich platform. To ensure uninterrupted shipping operations, all users should transition to the ShipWise Web App (app.shipwise.com) as soon as possible.

ShipV1 and legacy DesktopShipper domains will be officially retired on March 31, 2026.

Why are ShipV1 and Legacy DesktopShipper Platforms Being Retired?

ShipWise continues to evolve its platform to support enterprise fulfillment centers, high-volume ecommerce brands, and 3PL operations.

The updated ShipWise Web App delivers:

  • Stronger security standards strengthen account protection and align with current security best practices.

  • Modern carrier API integrations, including UPS REST API, FedEx REST API, and DHL API

  • Advanced automation capabilities, including updated tagging, batching, and packing tools.

  • Expanded reporting and data visibility that provide greater visibility into shipping performance and operational trends.

This transition ensures customers can operate on the most current, secure, and fully supported infrastructure.

How to Transition to ShipWise Web App (ShipV2):
Transitioning is simple and takes only a few minutes.

  1. Navigate to the Migration Registration page (https://app.shipwise.com/account/register)

  2. Enter your existing ShipV1 account email address

  3. Create a new password  and confirm it

Important: Your old ShipV1 password may not meet the new security requirements. If it does not, simply create a new compliant password.

New passwords must include:

  • At least one capital letter

  • At least one lowercase letter

  • At least one number

4. Select “Confirm Account” to complete your registration. That’s it!

What Happens After March 31, 2026?
To avoid disruption, we strongly recommend transitioning well before the retirement date.

  • ShipV1 will no longer be accessible.

  • Legacy DesktopShipper domains will be retired.

  • All shipping activity must be performed in the ShipWise Web App.
