What is Third Party Billing?
Third-party billing refers to a financial arrangement where a party other than the primary buyer or seller is responsible for paying the costs associated with a transaction or service.
In such arrangements, the payment for goods or services is made by someone other than the person or entity directly involved in the transaction.
Why is Third Party Billing Useful?
Third Party Billing is useful for many reasons including:
- The shipper may be fulfilling orders for a larger company which requires the use of Third Party Billing.
- The third-party may have already collected the shipping cost at the time of sale.
