On July 9th, 2023 USPS will discontinue use of First Class Mail and Parcel Select.
Those services will be replaced by a new service called Ground Advantage.
USPS Ground Advantage Breakdown:
- Service to all 50 states, military bases and territories.
- Weight Limit 0-70 Pounds.
- Transit Time: 2-5 days.
- Tracking is included.
- Insurance up to $100 included (up to 5K may be purchased).
- Supports Hazmat shipping.
*Packages going to Hawaii, Alaska, other offshore destinations, or packages that include hazardous materials may see longer transit times.

USPS Ground Advantage in ShipWise:
Starting July 9th, 2023, the following service (ship method) names will adjust in the ShipWise UI.
P01- USPS First Class Parcels - to - P01- USPS Ground Advantage under 1LB
P43- USPS Parcel Select - to - P43 - USPS Ground Advantage
